|0000273||Mac OS X Inform application||[IDEs] Editing||public||2010-08-29 19:37||2010-08-29 22:16|
|Platform||x86||OS||Mac OS X||OS Version||10.5|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0000273: Go/Replay does not play the game|
|Description||For any size of game of any complexity, the Go/Replay buttons build the game without error, but they fail to launch the interpreter. It doesn't matter what target you set, either; Z5,Z8, and Glulx all have the same error.|
It doesn't matter where the game is located -- whether it is in Applications with Inform, or located somewhere else.
It also doesn't matter if the game is generated from scratch within Inform or you open a game created by a prior version. Both fail.
Build 5Z71 and build 6E59 do not have this problem.
|Minimal Source Text To Reproduce|
"test" by Poster [Intro...] When play begins: say "Hi." [Then the credits come up] [First time room description.] Soft Place is a room. "[if unvisited]Big descript.[otherwise]Small descript."
|Additional Information||The last thing displayed on the status bar is "Compilation succeeded."|
(I renamed the app to 'informnew.app'.)
The 17-word source text has successfully been translated into an intermediate
description which can be run through Inform 6 to complete compilation.
There were 1 room and 1 thing.
Inform 7 has finished.

Inform 6.31N for Mac OS X (22nd April 2010)
Compiled with 1398 suppressed warnings
Compiler finished with code 0
This is the report produced by Inform 7 (build 6E72) on its most recent run through:
The 57-word source text has successfully been translated into a world with 1 room and 1 thing, and the index has been brought up to date.
(Nothing of note was under the other phases).
Phase XIII ... Compilation now complete
Total of 111 files written as streams.
That concludes the debugging log from this run of Inform.
Its contents were as follows, and can be changed by placing
text like 'Include property creations in the debugging log.'
or 'Omit everything from the debugging log.' in the source.
