  • Section 1.4 - Looking into a direction

    Looking Direction is a kind of Value. Looking Directions are Face North, Face South, Face West, Face East.
    Every person has a Looking Direction.

    When play begins:
    repeat with item running through persons begin;
    Change Looking Direction of item to Face North;
    end repeat.

    Turning left is an action applying to nothing.
    Understand "turn left" or "left" as turning left.

    Carry out turning left:
    Change Compass to player;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face North, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face West instead;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face West, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face South instead;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face East, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face North instead;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face South, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face East instead.

    Turning Right is an action applying to nothing.
    Understand "turn Right" or "Right" as turning Right .

    Carry out turning Right :
    Change Compass to player;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face North, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face East instead;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face West, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face North instead;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face East, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face South instead;
    If Looking Direction of compass is Face South, Change Looking Direction of compass to Face West instead.
