  • Section - General Food items (NOT POTIONS)
    After eating a noun:
        If the noun is DEADLY poisonous:
            If the thing is toxic tested:
                say "[line break]You notice the item is labelled (DEADLY POISON) are you sure you want to consume it?[line break]Yes\No[line break]";
                if the player consents:
                    say "[line break]You swallow down [the noun]. It tastes a little odd, but you have had worse. But then the room begins to swim before your eyes. As the sickness overtakes you and you fall to the floor, you slowly realise you have eaten something bad. Unfortunately, it is deadly poisonous, and you soon die.";
                    end the story saying "[bold type]You Have Died. The End.[roman type]";
                Otherwise:
                    Say "[line break]You wisely decide NOT to swallow deadly poison.";
                    reject the player's command;
            otherwise:
                say "[line break]You swallow down [the noun]. It tates a little odd, but you have had worse. But then the room begins to swim before your eyes. As the sickness overtakes you and you fall to the floor, you slowly realise you have eaten something bad. Unfortunately, it is deadly poisonous, and you soon die.";
                end the story saying "[bold type]You Have Died. The End.[roman type]";
        Otherwise if the noun is VERY poisonous:
            If the thing is toxic tested:
                say "[line break]You notice the item is labelled (POISON) are you sure you want to consume it?[line break]Yes\No[line break]";
                if the player consents:
                    say "[line break]You swallow down [the noun]. It tastes a little odd, but you have had worse. But then the room begins to swim before your eyes. As the sickness overtakes you and you fall to the floor, you slowly realise you have eaten something bad....";
                    [YOUR POISON EFFECTS HERE]
                Otherwise:
                    Say "[line break]You wisely decide NOT to swallow deadly poison.";
                    reject the player's command;
            otherwise:
                say "[line break]You swallow down [the noun]. It tastes a little odd, but you have had worse. But then the room begins to swim before your eyes. As the sickness overtakes you and you fall to the floor, you slowly realise you have eaten something bad....";

        Otherwise if the noun is Poison Tainted:
            If the thing is toxic tested:
                say "[line break]You notice the item is labelled (Poison Tainted) are you sure you want to consume it?[line break]Yes\No[line break]";
                if the player consents:
                    say "[line break]You swallow down [the noun]. It tastes a little odd, but you have had worse. Suddenly your stomach cramps and you realise you shouldn't have eaten that....";
                    [YOUR extra mild POISON EFFECTS HERE <------------------------------ This is a highly degraded kind of poison that should not cause damage, it is just the taint of something more toxic]
                Otherwise:
                    Say "[line break]You wisely decide NOT to swallow it.";
                    reject the player's command;
            otherwise:
                say "[line break]You swallow down [the noun]. It tastes a little odd, but you have had worse. Suddenly your stomach cramps and you realise you shouldn't have eaten that....";
                [YOUR extra mild POISON EFFECTS HERE <------------------------------ This is a highly degraded kind of poison that should not cause damage, it is just the taint of something more toxic]
        If the noun is slightly alcoholic:
            Say "[line break]You chug down the [the noun] and feel a bit of an alcoholic buzz[line break]";
            [Effects happen as normal, but the player's alcohol ratig goes up a bit]
        otherwise if the noun is alcoholic:
            Say "[line break]You chug down the [the noun] and feel a bit of an alcoholic buzz[line break]";
            [Effects happen as normal, but the player's alcohol ratig goes up a lot]
        otherwise if the noun is very alcoholic:
            Say "[line break]You chug down the [the noun] and feel an alcoholic buzz[line break]";
            [Effects happen as normal, but the player's alcohol rating goes through the roof]
