  • Chapter: Parameterized animation tracks

A "parameterized" track is one to which the author must supply the parameter on which the track will act--generally a property of the targeted g-element, canvas, or window. Whereas a reel animation track, for example, works only on the image-ID of a sprite or the background image of a canvas, a parameterized reel track can affect pretty much any visually significant property.

A parameterized track can work on only one property of one object at a time.

If you are not using any parameterized tracks in your game, you can include the following code in your game to stop the code that supports them from being compiled into the game; this will save a bit on memory.
