  • Section: Changing track modalities

    We can force a track into cycling or randomizing--or stop either of those modalities--once the animation is already running. Most often, we will do this via a callback routine, though we could also do it in response to player input. For example, we could cycle one animation until another animation completes. The second animation would then send a callback to the first to tell it to stop cycling.

    The phrases required are straightforward:

        cycle <track>
        stop cycling <track>
        
        randomize <track>
        remove randomization from <track>
