Section: Post-processing of the Automap data
The tileset data that Automap produces is designed for text-based maps, or for maps whose room connector lines are only a single pixel wide. This causes a problem for tilesets such as the Glimmr Automap Tileset, which has connectors that are a few pixels wide. The issue is that diagonal tiles touch only at their corners, which leaves a triangular gap on either side of a diagonal connector. To fix this problem, Glimmr Automap reads the map data from Automap and adds tiles that fill the empty spaces around diagonal joins. This occurs in the "automap post-processing" rulebook.
We can add our own rules to this rulebook if there are other things we'd like to customize, or we can disable them entirely by including this use option:
Use no post-processing.
We might want to disable post-processing if we are using a tileset that has connector lines that are only a single pixel wide. There is no need for post-processing of such a tileset, and we can avoid wasted time by simply bypassing the rulebook.
