    Adventure Book boils interactive fiction down to its most basic elements -- accepting choices from the player, and changing the game state to match those choices. There are a lot of limitations to writing a game in this format, but with a little cleverness, it's fairly simple to create some very interesting effects. We'll conclude with some examples of some simple effects that may help fire up your imagination as well as a complete game written with the original Adventure Book and translated into Inform 7.
